【Abstract】Theuseoflanguagevarieswithregardtothegenderdifference,andmanyresearcheshavebeendoneonthistopic.Inthispaper,byreadingandanalyzingmorethantenpapersonthistopictheauthorgivesasummaryonthepapersconcerningthecategories,methodologyandresults.Ithasbeenfoundthatthedifferencesfordifferentgendermainlylieinuseoflanguageandconversationalstyleandthatitismeaningfultoknowthesedifferences.However,thereisstillsomeroomforimprovementinthefuturestudies.

Ⅰ.Introduction
Thereisaconsiderableevidencethatlanguagesusedbymenandwomenaredifferenttosomeextent.Infact,genderdistinctionsinlinguisticbehaviorareabranchofsociolinguisticsanditisanimpactofextralinguisticfactorsonlanguageuse.Withinthelargebodyofresearchesreportingorstatingstereotypicalandactualdifferencesinthemunicationalbehaviorsofmenandwomen,wecanfindmuchevidencetoproveourmonsenseaboutgender-linkedlanguagedifferences.Therefore,afurtherstudyonthistopicisofgreatsignificance.Wecannotonlygainmuchmoreknowledgeaboutthepreciousachievementsintheprocessofanalyzingthesamplepapers,wecanalsousetheknowledgetoguideourconversationalbehaviors.
Thisessay,byanalyzingmorethantenpapersonthistopic,aimsatfindingoutwhathasbeenstudied,howitwasstudiedandwhatcanbeimprovedinthefuturestudy.
