《环境工程专业英语》课程教学大纲

一、课程基本信息

Englishonenvironmentalengineeringisthespecialtyelectivefortheenvironmentalengineeringstudents.Themainaimofthecourseisthetoknowthesituationofenvironmentalengineeringfield.Ontheotherhand,thestudentmustconferandimitatewhenwriting.

EnglishonEnvironmentalEngineeringconsistsoffourparts.Thefirstpartintroducestheessentialcontentoftheenvironmentalscienceandengineering,theenvironmentalprotectionpoliciesanddevelopmentinChina,theenvironmentalprotectionpoliciesandlawsinothercounties,especiallyintheUnitedStates.Thesecondpartenumeratessomeprincipalenvironmentalproblemsthehumanbeingsarefacing,includingairpollution,waterpollution,sharpfallofforestsandextinctionofwildlife.Thethirdpartofthiscourseselectsometechniquesandtechnologyofthedisposalofcontamination.ThelastpartisaboutthewritingarticleinEnglish,especiallytheabstractinEnglish.
