Abstract:Inthiswork,ZnOthinfilmsweresynthesizedbysol-gelmethodonglasssubstratesfollowedbycalcinationsondifferenttemperatures.Theeffectofannealingtemperatureonthestructureandopticalpropertiesofthefilmswasstudied.ThestructuralcharacteristicsofthesampleswereanalyzedbyX-raydiffractionandatomicforcemicroscope.TheopticalpropertieswerestudiedbyaUV-visiblespectrophotometer.TheresultsshowthatallthepreparedZnOthinfilmshaveahighpreferentialorientedc-axisorientationwithpacthexagonalwurtzitestructure.Withtheincreasingannealingtemperature(mse.ufl.edu),theintensityof(002)peak,particlesize,surfaceRMSroughness,andabsorbanceoftheZnOthinfilmswereincreasedaswell.Onthecontrary,thetransmittanceandopticalbandgapsweredecreased.2016Springer-Verlag.
