Abstract:Inthepresentwork,aqueouspoly(propyleneglycol)(PPG)solutionwasseparatedintoaqueoustwo-phasesystems(ATPSs)inthepresenceofionicliquid1-allyl-3-methylimidazoliumchloride([Amim]Cl),1-butyl-3-methylimidazoliumacetate([C4mim]Ac),or1-butyl-3-methylimidazoliumchloride([C4mim]Cl).ThetopphasewasPPG-rich,whereasthebottomphasewasionicliquid(IL)-rich.Liquid-liquidequilibriumdatafortheATPSsandthesalting-outcoefficientsoftheILshavebeendeterminedat298.15Kandatmosphericpressure.Itwasshownthatthebinodalcurvesandthetie-linescouldbedescribedbyathree-parameterequationandtheOthmer-TobiasandBancroftequations,respectively.Thesalting-outabilityoftheILsonPPGwasfoundtofollowtheorder:[Amim]Cl>,[C4mim]Ac>,[C4mim]Cl>,[C4mim][BF4].SincePPGisathermo-sensitivepolymerandcanberecoveredsimplybyheating,thesenovelATPSsareexpectedtohaveapplicationsintherecyclingand/orenrichmentofhydrophilicILsfromaqueoussolutions.2016AmericanChemicalSociety.

Abstract:Theself-similarityofplexhasextensivepracticalbackgroundinrealworld.Itissimilartothephenomenaofsocialrelationships:"thingsofonekindetogether,birdsofafeatherflocktogether".Hence,weproposedtheself-similarityworkevolvingmodelbasedonattributessimilaritybetweenthenodes.Inworkeachnodehastheattributevalue,bythisputedsimilaritybetweenthenodes.Iftwonodesattributesimilarityfallsincertainsector,thenestablishedtheconnectionbetweennodes.Thesimulationsmakeclearthatthedegreedistributionoftheself-similarityworksimilartothesmall-worldworks.Theclusteringandtheaveragepathoftheself-similarityworkaresmallerthanBAmodelandarebiggerthansmallworld.SimilarityworkmodelisanewcharacteristicofplexworkexcepttheBAmodeandthesmallworldmode.Ontheotherhand,theself-similarityworkhasgoodrobustnesstorandomfaultanddeliberatelyattack.2016IEEE.
